Executive Director - Operations (Healthcare)

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director of Operations to lead the safe, effective, and compliant delivery of services within a specialist mental health facility. This role provides strategic oversight of facilities, clinical support, and administrative functions, including commissioning and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Governance, quality improvement and patient safety

• Financial and workforce management

• Facilities, safety and commissioning

• Risk management, audit and regulatory compliance

• Performance monitoring and improvement

Requirements

• 10+ years' senior healthcare management experience

• Proven leadership through JCIA accreditation and inspections

• Strong background in quality, patient safety and risk management

• Demonstrated expertise in facility commissioning, operational readiness, QA/QC oversight and transition to full clinical operations.
