At Medacs Healthcare our team of Clinical Assessors is made up of PIP Functional Assessors and Disability Assessors.

To apply, you must be a registered NMC Nurse (RN, RMN, RNLD, SPQDN) or an HCPC-registered Paramedic, Physiotherapist, or Occupational Therapist. You’ll also need at least one year of clinical experience, which can be in the NHS or a private healthcare setting.

No, this is a permanent position working directly for Medacs Healthcare. Our recruitment team works closely with our assessors and Clinical Management Team. There’s no third party involved. We’ll guide you through every step of the recruitment process and provide ongoing support.

Absolutely! We welcome applications from experienced Disability Assessors.

Yes, there are targets based on quality and productivity. All targets will be clearly explained during your telephone pre-screen and interview.

No, you must already live in the UK and have the right to work here. We are unable to offer sponsorship. If successful, you’ll need to provide original documents in line with the Asylum and Immigration Act (1997).

Yes! This is a clinical role, so you’ll maintain your NMC or HCPC registration. We provide ongoing training and CPD, and reimburse your annual registration fee after probation.

You’ll join a supportive team with clear routes for progression. After gaining experience, you could become a Clinical Coach, Support Manager or Auditor.

You’ll be part of a community of around 150 health professionals across 10 sites in Yorkshire and the North East. You’ll start in a small group and join a larger team as you progress, with regular meetings and support from your line manager.

Your caseload is managed by our experienced admin team. All appointments are scheduled between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, and booked four weeks in advance. Once you’re fully proficient, you may join our flex scheme, allowing you to manage your own diary for a better work–life balance.

We have offices across Yorkshire and the North East. You’re encouraged to work on-site, but home working is possible if you have a private, confidential space with a strong internet connection.

·       Salary up to £46,575 (pro rata)

The probation period is 6 months (may be extended if needed).

The role is permanent, with working hours of 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday. Part-time contracts (minimum 3 days) are available, but the initial 8-week training is full-time.

No, NHS pensions can not be carried transferred, but you'll be enrolled in our Scottish Widows pension scheme after 3 months.
